From America to Apulia for a romantic wedding day
The colours of Autumn, the warmth of a November day, a young and beautiful couple with so much joy brought all their guests from the USA to Salento.
Usually for the Italians November isn’t the ideal month to celebrate a wedding, but for Melinda and AJ is was a truly unforgettable day, with a glorious sun which warmed the hearts of all who attended this special day.
The bride, wrapped in a white dress with simple and elegant decor lace, a fine bouquet of english sun roses and a great, great emotion. The groom, cheerful and excited, in perfect American style with blue accessories which complimented the brides outfit.
Melinda and AJ chose Puglia, Salento, a small and intimate church inland of Lecce within an antique estate, to celebrate the exchanging of their vows. Their priest also travelled all this way to seal their love forever.
A brief but intense ceremony, with the sweet sound of violins in the background and surrounded by the immense warmth of their family and friends.
The garden, between the warm colours of autumn which reflected the temperature, and the shades of the spring like sky, hosted the first part of the celebrations. Continuing with an intimate lunch in the dining room, designed as if they were inside their home, with a party atmosphere, yet cosy and elegant which puts you at ease.
A long imperial table, decorated with white flowers, candles and small details in blue, welcomed the bride and groom and guests to taste the cuisine of Salento, Puglia. Delicacies which pleased all and left guests truly satisfied.
The wedding cake, a white cloud, elegantly laced with blue ribbons, and of course the long awaited confetti, unknown to most people, which in no time brought smiles to all.
Between the notes of the piano, the joy of the newlyweds, the hugs of friends, heart felt happiness which entered the hearts of all without asking permission, the party continued until the late evening leaving unforgettable memories of a romantic wedding. Simple yet accurate in every detail thanks to an exceptional staff, who carry to other continents the warmth of our land called Salento!
